The Airoh Commander 2 is the newest adventure helmet from Airoh, which is a well-known Italian brand. The commander 2 is an improved version of the Airoh Commander and is designed for riders who love both road trips and off-road adventures. The Touring / ADV helmet is now even safer, more comfortable, and better ventilated. The helmet is lightweight, strong, and packed with features to make riding more enjoyable.

Material

The Airoh Commander 2 is made of carbon (High-Performance Composite (HPC). This means the helmet is lightweight and strong and weighs in at about 1440 grams. This should do a great job at preventing neck fatigue making your rides more comfortable.

The helmet comes in three shell sizes, with sizes ranging from XS to XXXL providing a snug and comfortable fit for different head sizes and shapes.

Comfort

The inner liner is made from soft and breathable Coolmax material, which is moisture wicking and helps keep sweat away. The inner liner is removable and washable, so it is easy to keep the helmet clean.

The helmet comes with a breath guard, to redirect warm air away from the visor and two chin curtains. One chin curtain is designed for warm weather, allowing more airflow, while the other is for cold weather, blocking out wind and keeping the rider warm. This helmet has a Double-D closure which is known for being the safest closure on the market. The Airoh Commander-2 also has Airoh’s Sliding Net which protects your head from impact energy in case of an accident. This helmet also has an emergency quick release which allows rescuers to take off the helmet quickly. Airoh also prepared this helmet for an Action Camera which allows riders to capture their rides.

Visor

The Airoh Commander 2 has a wide field of view. This helmet comes with a visor that is scratch resistant and UV resistant, meaning the visor won’t scratch easy and will last longer. The helmet comes with a Pinlock included in the box, to prevent condensation on the inside of the helmet, so the rider will always have a clear view, even in cold or rainy weather. For extra sun protection, the helmet has an internal sun-visor that can be easily lowered or raised with a slider. This makes it easy to adjust on sunny days without needing sunglasses.

The visor mechanism is designed to fit tightly to the shell. This reduces wind noise and stops air from coming in. The visor can also be removed quickly, so riders can change the visor if needed.

Ventilation

The Airoh Commander 2 has a well-designed ventilation system that keeps riders cool and comfortable.

The helmet has several top vents, which bring in fresh air. The chin vent is adjustable, allowing the rider to control how much air comes in. At the back, back vents release warm air to keep the rider cool. Cool air flows through the air channels in the EPS shell which keeps the helmet cool.
